Raya : Baking Season!

Assalamualaikum

This post is going to be like a quick post of mine with several photos in it. Basically I dont know how I got into this baking things. Well Im not a pro chef or something. And Im not really good at cooking. Its not that I cant cook. I can cook but I think I prefer baking. And most of the time, the meals are on my mum since yeah, Im in a boarding school and I rarely got to cook.

I never thought of anything before I started this world of baking. My mum was the one who supported me 110% on this and she always suggest something new for me to try. So yeah, thanks Ibu :') let pictures do the talk.

It started with this. Remember the cookies I told you before? It was the main idea. And now I turned out to have my own mix! I tried mixing oatmeal with cranberries and Honeystar and dipped it in White Chocolate :) So there you go.

Err, I dont really have a name for it YET but sure it tastes awesome! And to be frank, Im not really satisfied with the appearance but then my mum said it was okay it look like Cadbury Nuggets. So I agreed with her :)




This was when my cousins from Shah Alam came by and offered to help us with the tarts. We used to bake cookies together. But thats a loooooong time ago and I sure miss those times :') anyway, we had fun that day and we had Iftar together.

Cheese and chocolate tarts! The design is simple I couldnt think of any. I really would love to bake Macau Egg Tart which is my favorite! So that is sooo going to be on my Next Baking List!
We baked quite an amount of cookies and tarts so Ibu decided to distributed it elsewhere. Some of em are to the police who would be doing their job while we celebrated Raya. So I helped Ibu with it. Please, ignore my worse handwriting. Aha :P

So thats that for now. Do pray for me to bake more soon. :)

Sixteen!

So, the next event was......

MY BIRTHDAY!

To be frank, I never had a blast birthday party at all. Despite of the one I had during form 2 or form 3 I didnt actually remember. That time I got pranked and I got really mad and annoyed. Okay please guys, I hate pranks. Unlike any other people in this world. Considering the fact that my birthday falls on the day of Ramadhan and exam week, it was always gonna be a moderate celebration.

However. I am glad for it. Worlds just could not explain. In fact you dont know, my birthday is on 13th August :) Anyway, I am now officially sixteen baby! And I am glad to be born to this world Alhamdulillah and thank you Ibu for being such a wonderful mother who carried me with no regrets, here and there, till the day I was born, 9 months to be accurate and also thanks to Ayah for being patience with Ibu, raising me up for 16 years long until today. Millions of dollars are still not enough to pay back for your sacrifices. I will forever be proud to be your daughter no matter what happens and will always do. I promise I would do the best in life and my only goal for living now is to make you proud :')

And thank you friends and relatives for wishing me on the 13th of August whish was a bless day for me and only myself know how appreciated I felt!

A few weeks later..

Assalamualaikum

Okay I know it has been like last year when I last updated my blog. Dont blame me. I told you I type whenever I like and when there is time. The thing here is I got loads of stuffs to be done and loads of events to be attend. Considering the fact that I rarely online these days, you can barely see my blog updated. Anyway, I do have a big intention to fill this blog with my hectic days. But you know, its just a matter of time. But I'll try my best to keep you updated. (Duh, like anyone cares)

Its already 27th day of Ramadhan which signifies the month of Ramadhan is ending...and Raya is approaching..and yet I still believe that it is not too late to wish you guys Happy Ramadhan! hee :D

So this post is soing to be like a flashback memories of mine. As far as i could remember, the last time I viewed my blog was back when I was doing some research in Bio lab at school.

Well, I entered a competition called Pertandingan Analisis Kategori Sekolah Menengah. And the main theme is Cities and Climate Change. It is actually for the World Habitat Day

It is something to do with the urbanization and pollutions and blablabla. Just cliche things. I actually dont know how I got involved in this thing but it happened.

Our tasks for this contest is that we have to create and collect ideas and solutions for the given problems. Sant's team got the E-Waste issues and mine was the urban and pollutions and ways to reduce it. Okay I know some of you guys might think this is so common and lame. I did not blame you because at first, I thought the same way too. But then, I started to discuss about the status quo and imagining our future and I started to concern about these things. I even learned more about cars anyway. Teehee :D Anyway, the results for us to be shortlisted or not, is going to be after Raya (thats what Teacher Madec told us) and what I got to do is just wait. I am not really hoping too high for this as I know there are loads of better and challenging competitors out there. But at least I tried. Yet to mention, the preparation week for this contest is actually a week before exams. At first I thought about turning this down but second thought, why not? And it would be fun to gain some experience like this. The final stage is going to be held at PICC where the shortlisted teams are about to present their own works :)
