Be Proud, Malaysians!

Assalamualaikum
Like everybody might know, we're currently having the durian season (!)

I have been always loved durian.Well not that Im such a fanatic or die-hard fan of durian. Its just that my family , especially Abah reaaaaaally love durian. Its appearance, favor and odor are so special that it is known as the “King of Fruits” in Southeast Asia.

Durian contains lots of nutrition. Its shape can range from oblong to round, and it has green to brown colored husk and pale yellow to red colored flesh. Its size can be as large as 12 inches long and 6 inches in diameter, and it usually weights 2 to 7 lb.

Okay why do I sound like Wikipedia? -__-

Anyway, durian is famous for its distinctive odor, which is so strong and penetrating even with the husk. Some people love the smell of durian, while the rest find it odious. I hated the odor when I first smelled it, but after I was forced to take a bite of the flesh, I fell in love this fruit, and the odor became more and more acceptable to me. Like seriously. Somehow it is something to be proud of this king of fruit is actually a hard-to-find fruit all over the world. It is just highly profitable and commonly found at some Asian countries like MALAYSIA, Thailand and Indonesia
.

What actually brought me to this post is that my house strongly smells durian right now! And sometimes it made me feel kinda dizzy. Mama came and gave us quite loads of durians and she made me a bowl of puding durian which is finger lickin' good! Thank you Mama :') You gotta give me the recipe.

Anyway, I would like to share with you guys some yummy products of durian which you SHOULD try if you havent yet :)
