Assalamualaikum
I was spending some time with my parents like I always did on the evening when Im at home. Watching tv with them is a routine which I would not miss whenever I came back home. So just now something crawled into my mind and me think for a while.
It's about Indonesian drama. Movies, tv show or etc. Is it true that most of them include crying scenes ? Like majority of the mommys out there, my mom probably love to watch those Indonesian drama. Which, sometimes, annoys me -.- because practically I HATE EM. No hard feelings dude. But I really dont have any interest on any of the Indonesian casts.
Yes I admit some of their novels are good but Im not really into them :/ To those who love Indonesion products, well go ahead :) Im just giving out my opinions and thoughts. No offense.
So, actually what brought me into this post is this incident :
Ibu : Dah 4.30! Bukak channel *** cepat! Ketika Cinta Bertasbih! (this is an Indonesian drama)
Ayah and me : -___________- *hands out remote
Ibu : Ini best gila ni! Habiburrahman punya movie. Must watch. Aduh bestnyaa. Bla bla bla.
Ayah and me : -__________________________-
(then as usual, the crying scene appears and it stays like 15 mins like that?)
Ayah : Asyik asyik scene melalaaak, crying all the time. Thats why I dont watch Malay movies.
Me : Ayah, ni Indonesian.
Ayah : Same.
Ibu : Mana ada crying all the time. Sikit je. Tadi mana ada nangis.
D-uhhhhhhh! No way Ibu. Its obvious that there were crying scenes all the time. One time they were acting and one time we can see them crying. And sad all the time. I mean like, common la, wheres the happy part? Wheres the laughing and hey-i-got-some-good-news part and what so ever. Anyway, Im not criticizing or whatever you might think Im doing but I just think that you should cut off those too much crying part! People are tired watching you crying dude! Hihi :D
